Pre & Post Treatment Instructions

48 HOURS BEFORE:
-- Have your final manicure, pedicure, facial, waxing and hair appointments
24 HOURS BEFORE:

— Shave or use depilatory cream to remove unwanted body hair.
— Exfoliate the entire body with an exfoliating mitt or with a mild, oil-free exfoliant.
-- Make sure the previous tan is gone and no self tan is present

8 HOURS BEFORE:

— Shower with soap ONLY,  do not apply body oils or moisturizers to skin  as this can create a barrier on your skin. If  you are extremely dry you can use a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer

 UP TO 8 HOURS AFTER:
— Avoid any activity that would cause sweating (exercise, cleaning or showering) . Contact with water or sweat could result in lines or uneven tanning.
-- Refrain from showering for 8-12 hours for a basic tan or 1-6 hours for rapid tans.
-- Refrain from applying cream or wearing makeup until tan is fully developed


8-12 HOURS AFTER:

— Shower( without soap) rinsing the body and face. This will remove the cosmetic bronzer, rinse until water runs clear. 
— While you are drying, remember to pat, not rub your skin.
— You are free to apply oil and alcohol free moisturizers, sunscreen, and makeup.

Sunless Tanning

EYELASH EXTENSIONS
Before your appointment
-- Avoid caffeine
-- Remove contact lenses
-- Arrive with a clean face and clean lashes
-- Avoid oil based products around the eyes

Aftercare for your lashes
--Avoid moisture for 24 hours
--Avoid oil around ashes
-- After the initial 24 hour period wash lashes daily
-- Avoid touching/rubbing lashes
-- Avoid sleeping on lashes
-- Avoid extreme heat

LASH LIFTS/BROW LAMINATION--
-- Do not use tanning products for 48 hours before or after appointment
-- Do not use Retin-A, AHA, or exfoliate around the area 3 days before or after appointment

24 Hours after your lash lift
-- Keep lashes dry for 24 hours after lift
-- No makeup or other eye treatments
After 24 hours
-- Apply conditioner daily 
-- Avoid touching the lashes
-- Brush lashes upward with wand when needed

BROW LAMINATION
24 Hours after brow lamination
-- Keep brows dry for 24 hours after lamination
-- No makeup or other eye treatments

After 24 hours
-- Apply conditioner daily 
-- Avoid touching the brows
-- Brush brows in place with wand when needed

Lash + Brow Services    

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT:
-- Stop the use of retinol 2 weeks prior to a hair removal service
 (please contact your provider to reschedule if you are currently using accutane)
-- Allow the hair to grow to at least 1/4 inch for hard wax and 1/8th inch for sugaring. For most people, this means allowing 2 weeks of growth before your appointment so that the removing agent is able to adhere.
-- Do not exfoliate the day of your service
-- Wear loose-fitting comfortable clothing and a fresh pair of underwear to your appointment to decrease irritation 


24-48 HOURS AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT:
-- No hot baths or showers (cool to lukewarm water only).
-- No saunas, hot tubs, massage or steam treatments.
-- No tanning (sunbathing, sun beds or fake tans).
-- No sport, gym work or other exercise.
-- Avoid scratching or touching the treated area 
-- Wear clean, loose fitting clothes.
-- Avoid swimming in chlorinated pools.
-- Do not apply deodorants, body sprays, powders, or lotions.
LIFESPAN OF YOUR HAIR REMOVAL:
-- Exfoliate daily
--Moisturize daily

Waxing/Sugaring

BEFORE YOUR SERVICE:
-- No shaving or waxing 5 days prior to the appointment 
-- Not suitable for those on Accutane
-- No ongoing laser treatments
-- No sexual intercourse 24 hours before the  procedure. 

AFTER YOUR SERVICE:
--Avoid laser hair removal and/or waxing for 5 days post treatment
--Avoid exercise and activities such as hot yoga, running, bathing, wearing a thong (when vaginal or anal areas are treated), and soaking in a hot tub.
-- No sexual activities for 3 days to 5 days when vaginal or anal areas treated
-- Avoid direct sun on the area treated for one week
